Dear Parents,
Thinking about the habit of mind- Being creative and imaginative, I found a creative writing project called I Wanna Take Me a Picture. Students take a variety of pictures of
- Themselves
- Family
- Community
- Dreams. We will be using black and white pictures. The idea is for them to be creative and take pictures themselves.
In class and for homework this week, we have been writing about each of the topics from the pictures. Mr. Chiasson will come in and help us create a Garage Band presentation with music, pictures and voices reading their writing. He will create a disc for each of the students to have to enjoy at home.
If you have concerns about any of the pictures, please let me know. A student can take a picture in which their face doesn’t show or use a picture of a pet instead of their own face, if you are concerned about pictures of your child.
As a reminder to your child, here is a list of writing pieces we have worked on this week and a list for weekend “Gotta Dos”.(Checked items are passed in)

Pictures can be emailed to me - sprovost@msad54.org if you have concerns about your camera’s safety. Or, developed pictures can be scanned here at school. We’ll change them to black and white here.
